![]() I wanted to ask about checkout one day, but couldn't. I say to learn some spanish as there are only a couple of staff that speak english - so ordering breakfast can be tricky, or asking more complex questions. My favourite was maybe Los Panchos - 20 mins away, and full of locals. Reforma is closed on Sundays and super peaceful for walkers, cyclists, runners. You can get into the main park and gardens much more easily down the Reforma road, which is 5 mins away. Zocalo which is about an hour away, but you can get Ubers very easily for relatively little money. We got taxi's back from dinner afterwards when darker. Location good for wandering around CDMX - which seemed perfectly safe during the day. Room 4 was nice especially (shower + bath, all very new), but both rooms were fine. Stayed twice, and experienced two different rooms. That spoilt my experience of the place and unfortunately I would be unable to recommend it.… This is not what I would expect from a 5-star venue. I emailed them 3 times to complain with no response. If the management chose not to be onsite they should have emailed all guests explaining the situation and apologising. We had to keep on chasing it up with staff to find out if/when it would be fixed which was challenging with them not speaking English. ![]() Communication from management was extremely poor. And we weren’t provided with bottled drinking water. Guests had to go downstairs to fill up buckets of water themselves from a standpipe by the entrance. We had one bad experience where the water pump failed leaving the whole building with no water at all - no water in the tap / shower / toilet. The breakfast was pleasant but quite basic. The staff were very friendly and helpful but unfortunately didn’t speak much English. The room was very comfortable although quite hot at night. We recently returned from a week’s stay at this B&B. For the price we did not think it was value for money and there are better value hotels in CDMX.… Internet is also not that great and half of the time was not working during out stat Having said that Julio was amazing during the stay. We were not provided with basic information and were locked out of the property because we did not have the code. I recognise that it is a Spanish speaking country but if you are going to welcome international tourists then the person should be able to explain basic things even if through google translate. When we arrived there was no english speaking staff. I know its clearly written there is no a/c but the rooms do really need a/c given the Mexico weather. Basic items such as towel hangers are lacking and the shower area was not well built so there was water leaking all over the floor. Rooms are well decorated but are not functional. ![]() However we did not find the overall experience to be great and value for Money. The hotel is pretty and is in a good location.
