I’ve been through a lot trying to get this to work and I don’t beleive I should be having this much trouble over a mouse wheel - so i must be missing something. So far I’ve enjoyed using OPENSUSE, and I look forward to getting this last little thing resolved. Mouse wheel also did not work immediately after install, so it’s not like an update broke something. In case you’re about to ask: yes the mouse did work as desired and designed before I nuked the preivous Windows install.
